Dave Stafford, Executive Vice President of Commercial Carpets of America (CCA) and a 21-year veteran of the company, announced his intention to retire on April 30, 2006. "I've been part of CCA's growth from a small retailer with 12 employees to one of the largest companies in our area with residential, wholesale, commercial, and government business groups. It has been a great experience and I've enjoyed the variety of opportunities that have been presented, however, I'd like to have the time to do other things and spend more time with my family. I will be working with CCA as a consultant on contracts and human resource issues over the coming months to make the transition a smooth one."

According to Daryl Reinke, President of CCA, "Dave has been an integral part of this company, the growth CCA has achieved, and the large footprint we have established. I look forward to his continuing work with us as a consultant."

Stafford went on to say, "I first joined the company on July 10, 1985 and it has been my pleasure to see the company assume a dominant position in the Northern Virginia marketplace with its Residential Group and two CARPET ONE locations, the ProSOURCE wholesale group, the Commercial Group which features StarNet membership, and the Government Group with its federal government GSA Contracts as well as various local and state government term contracts. The company is poised to continue its success."
